Weather of East Sea

The East Sea has been historically and geographically located northeast of the Asian Continent and west of the Pacific Ocean and is surrounded by the Maritime Province of Sakhalin Island in Russia and the Japanese Islands. The East Sea was also called "Sea of Korea" and "Sea of Chosun,” neighboring Tatar Strait to its north and the Korea Strait to its south.

The average yearly temperatures of these areas are as follows: 5-15 Celsius for the coasts of the Korean Peninsula and Japanese Islands, 1-5 Celsius for the Maritime Province of Russia, and below 0 Celsius for the Tatar Strait.

The average yearly temperatures of East Seas are as follows; 13-19 Celsius for the southern part, below 10 Celsius for the Maritime Province of Russia, and below the freezing point for ocean of near the Maritime Province of Russia and the northern East Sea during the winter season
